Amiri Lynn : Baldwin Hills Youth Football enjoys an old tradition if men mentoring boys through football. Quarterback great Warren moon came from this program as did Councilman Bernard Parks (also former LAPD Chief.) Mrs. Ford is still on the scene, and is pictured below. The 54-55 Celebration: Brian Barton (#54) and Isidra's55th : Welcome home Brian Barton and happy birthday to me! Jaaye, Kenyon, So and the family put the two parties together, calling it the 54/55 Celebration and topped it off with a trip to the ball game to see Brian play. Mother Marge : Well, Family, thank you so much for being there while we were saying farewell to Mother Marge. I did not caption each picture, but regardless of the side of the family the person falls on, they are still family. Aunt Rose, Uncle Thomas, Aunt Emma and Aunt Ida, Dianora, Rhonda and Gretchen, thank you for making the effort to come. Lia and Derrick, your kids are the best and we had great fun getting to know them, all over again. Thanks to Jaaye for driving in the pouring rain to get there, to Bunny and Sonia for all you do. Thanks to Mom for taking care of Mother Marge. And thanks MaDear for keeping us laughing all weekend. Gina and Ron, I felt as if I slept in a 4 star hotel. And thanks to Raijon for taking many of these photos. Cherish and Tijaan snapped a few of the 79 photos too! Thanks again.

West Coast Graduates Celebration : For those of you who did not get to attend, here are the photos from the West Coast celebration of four graduates: Ayo (M.B.A.) and Jaaye (J.D.), of course, and Erin Lynn (B.A.), our niece and Michal Brown , PhD. Set it to slideshow and spend some time with us! Look foir the historic meeting of Melissa (Mit's) family with Isidra and Stephanie's (She'd flown in from VA). This concludes to celebration of the graduations. WHy did we wait! So Jaaye could complete the bar and it was the first date that most of the 4 could make it.
