Each Thursday night Project Blowed opens its mic for young people from all creeds and cultures. There's Yoga, and video editing, film screenings and event rentals all in a deceptively small space spanning two buildings. Filmmaker Ben Caldwell is the captain of this raucous resource center . Eso Won Grand Opening Fall 2006 in Leimert Park : Eso Won Books came to Leimert Park with huge fanfare. All of the elected officials representing the area were on hand--Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Diane Watson, Assemblyman Mark Ridley-Thomas and Councilman Bernard Parks were there. Authors Dr. Kwaku Person-Lynn, Anthony Samad, Deloris Holmes and Earl Ofari Hutchison signed autographs and there was plenty of food for all.
